How do I know if my application was received?

The application process should only take about 10 minutes. Immediately following your submission, you will receive an email confirmation. Be sure to allow enough time to complete our process and follow all the steps until you reach the final page.

I sent in my resume a couple of days ago. How long will it take before I can schedule an interview?

You will receive an email confirmation that your resume or application has been received immediately following your submission. If there's an open position that matches your qualifications, we will contact you to schedule an interview.

What is the interview process like?

Once we determine a match with an open position, you'll be contacted by a Talent Department Recruiter to schedule a phone interview. The Talent Department Recruiter will let you know within several days if you will be advancing through the selection process. The next step in the process involves in person interviews at one of our Restaurant Locations or at the Corporate Offices. Of course, professional references will be checked prior to an offer of employment for an internship being extended.

What hours will I work as an intern at The Cheesecake Factory?

We tailor the work hours and duties to meet your schools internship requirements. Most schools programs require at least a 20-25 hours in the workweek in order to meet the internship requirements. You will be scheduled for the hourly requirements per your school's requirements.

Are there any benefits offered with an internship?

Unfortunately interns do not qualify for benefits, fee parking or shift meals.

Is temporary housing available and paid for during my internship?

We do not offer housing for interns. All interns are responsible for their own housing and transportation.

What is the Restaurant and Culinary internship program like at The Cheesecake Factory?

We have a comprehensive program tailored to your schools particular curriculum requirements. You can expect to learn many unique things about running a Cheesecake Factory restaurant, and put your restaurant/culinary education to work in our exciting and cutting edge restaurant environment.

I'm trying to access the on-line application and it's blocked. What could be causing this?

You may need to update your browser's privacy settings. From your PC browser, select the Tools Menu/ Internet Options/ Privacy tab. Click the "Edit" button, and then type "taleo.net" in the "Address of the Web Site" box. Click "Allow," then click "OK" twice to close the box and save your settings.

What if I forget my password?

Use the "forgot password" function on the login screen. Follow the on screen directions, Which will instruct you to enter your user name and email address, click OK, then follow the instructions.
