Provide high-level technical leadership and support for projects related to the evolving information technology environment and the support of that environment. Analyze, maintain, and develop custom ETL solutions to integrate and share data sets across varying applications and systems. Participate regularly in cross-discipline projects involving the databases or data warehouse. Maintain data integrity and overall responsibility for data warehousing and reporting infrastructure. Continually assess, improve, and optimize our current data and reporting environment.
The incumbent will provide support in the administration, backup, integrity and security of ERP systems including, but not limited to, software upgrades, custom interfaces, and troubleshooting. Contribute in the decision making process in areas regarding the development and deployment of software technologies throughout the organization.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, implement, and maintain data-driven business solutions.
* Development of data strategy and architecture along with supporting policies.
* Assess, document, and improve the existing architecture, support and policies associated with the database environment.
* Provide support for existing business systems - both off-the-shelf and custom packages.
* Interact with clients to gather and document detailed requirements for changes and enhancements to existing systems as well as for new business systems.
* Manage internal and external contract resources as needed.
* Use and promote established application development standards, QA and change control procedures.
* Responsible for management and development of various SQL servers located both at corporate and in our restaurants.
* Train first and second level support personnel and providing third level support as needed.
* Invest time to grow personal skills and the skills of other staff members.

* Practical experience managing projects, implementing systems and defining business requirements.
* Experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting major packaged software applications (ERP implementation experience preferred).
* 5+ years experience designing, creating, and managing databases, data marts, and/or data warehouses in Microsoft SQL Server is required. DB2 experience is also preferred.
* 3+ years combined development experience in Visual Basic, .Net and Microsoft SQL Server is required.
* 3+ years experience using SQL Server DTS(preferred), Integration Services(preferred), or another ETL package to import, export, and transform data.
* 3+ years demonstrated experience using Reporting tools such as Actuate, Business Objects, Cognos, Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services to create dynamic database reports.
* Experience in a restaurant IT shop is desirable
* Experience with a variety of Point of Sale (POS) systems is desirable
* Experience designing and building restaurant systems is desirable
* A Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable
* Ability to quickly assess and resolve conflicts and complaints and follow up with appropriate sources.
