Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pull pick sheet orders for production 
  • Monitor temporary process bins to ensure they are cleared per process, both physically and via system, on a shift/daily basis. 
  • Run a series of inventory reports on daily, weekly, or monthly basis to help the ensure inventory accuracy and that the receiving team to deliver the orders to our internal customers complete and on time. 
  • Manage the cycle count program within the warehouse. 
    • Performing daily cycle counts of dry, cooler and freezer inventory to plan 
    • Perform root cause analysis of cycle count discrepancies  
    • Track and report cycle count progress and inventory accuracy measured 
  • Manage all the transfers (inbound and outbound) between CCF locations and contracted warehouses to ensure deliveries are complete and on time. Notify team of discrepancies and ensure Ross is current and accurate. Measure and monitor the warehouses performance level and provide monthly report for our warehouse. 
  • Monitor the inventory movements for the offsite warehouses and inventory reported. Resolve discrepancies that may arise and identify root cause(s). 
  • Provide the team daily expected short list or any service issue. 
  • Monitoring the open orders on a daily basis and verify space is available to maintain storage per our allergen policy. 
  • Help the warehouse team to perform the physical count and execute the Physical count procedure. 
  • Perform approved inventory adjustments in the system. 
    • Work with the production team in regards to communicating inventory issues around returns. 
    • Create reporting for all inventory adjustments and highlight any adjustments that may affect the production plan. 
  • Measure and monitor vendor performance
    • On time delivery via required dates 
    • On time delivery via schedule appointments 
    • Shorts on delivery 
  • Track supplies inventory for receiving department and place requisitions as needed. 
  • Keep records and maintain monthly reports of all the purchase orders for warehouse supplies and invoices and report compared to the warehouse budget. 
  • Any other task that are assigned.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in related field 
  • Proven ability to lead, facilitate and coach a small team of staff that will support the Material Manager to carry out his/ her responsibilities. 
  • Proven experience in a warehousing environment. 
  • Maintenance and accountability for high levels of customer service (internal and external) 
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic inventory management techniques. 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, diverse work environment 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel for spreadsheet work. 
  • Ability to perform under pressure, organizational skills, and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to communicate at all levels 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; influential and persuasive
